Just received a call from this number moments ago, purporting to be from something called 'Pedalert'. They seemed to already know the name of the person they were trying to reach. The caller wanted to verify whether I’m over the age of 65. However, I could hardly make out what she was saying as her voice was rather soft. I haven’t asked them to get in touch with me, so I’m quite puzzled about how they obtained my details.

We received a rather intriguing phone call claiming that we had been selected to receive a complimentary buzzer fitted in our home, intended for summoning assistance in the event of a fall or for any urgent needs. After some discussion, we requested that they ring us back later, once we had given it a proper thought. Since then, they’ve been persistent, ringing us no less than three times a day. However, we've chosen not to pick up the phone.
