28 daysGot a call from someone claiming to be WhatsApp, wanted me to add a number to get around their security. Sounds like one of those scam calls to me. Watch out, don’t fall for it!WhatsApp1 yearLike others have said, if you just get a text saying 'hello', dont bother replying or calling back. It only lets the scammers know your number is active and you'll just end up getting more spam. Best thing is to ignore, delete and mark as junk straight away!1 yearGot a text saying just ‘Hello’ from an unknown number. Didn’t recognise it, so I blocked it straight away and reported it.1 yearI got a text from an unknown number that simply said "Hi". Looks like they're just checking to see if the number is real so they can target it with scams. I reckon most folks would reply to a greeting like that, which ends up giving away that their phone is in use.1 yearGot a text from this number saying just “hello” and when I replied asking who it was, I never got an answer.
