Terrible! Callers with UK/Scottish accents keep asking for Mr Wilson over and over. I’m not him, haven’t been for years, yet the nuisance calls to my landline carry on every week. They claim to be from Home Savings Centre, saying there's money for home improvements - sometimes for energy, sometimes for window replacements. I always ask nicely to be removed from their list, but they often get rude. One even kept ringing me nonstop all afternoon until midnight. Reported to TPS but no action taken so far.

Got a quick burst of noise from a call centre and then a very thick Glasgow accent trying to sell me some 'home energy saving' scheme. Didn’t hang around long, had loads of these calls before and wasn’t in the mood to be nice. They did use a dodgy mobile number, like all the scammers these days, but other than that, nothing special.

Got a call from Home Savings Centre, sounded like a typical West Scotland accent. They were talking about funding for windows and doors, got quite aggressive about it. Claimed to be the biggest marketing firm in the UK and offered up to 60% "funding" for new windows or doors. They even asked how many windows or doors we'd be thinking of replacing in the next couple years. Bit too pushy for my liking.

If it's the Green Energy Trust, they're from Bradford and got slapped with a 250k fine from the ICO earlier this year, which they were meant to pay last May. I've gotten loads of calls from this spoofed mobile lately, all week really, at all sorts of times. My Call Minder has blocked every one, so my phone never actually rang. The ICO's PDF about the fine said they've faked 42,500 numbers to dodge call blockers and complaints, plus they run under a bunch of different company names.

Had another one of those quiet calls coming from a dodgy mobile number, proper sign of a scam. They probably only get through once in about twenty tries, and it’s most likely just some pre-recorded message. Don’t really see how this makes much money for them, it’s just a massive irritation.

Got a call on me landline on Saturday 6th of October 2018 at just after 11 in the mornin. The bloke asked if I was Mr. H, but I’m a woman so said no. Then he asked if I was Mrs. H, I said no again but offered to take a message. He said he’d ring back ‘cause he’s got something personal to say to them. Whatever ye do, don’t answer this number. If yer phone lets ye, block it. Never give out yer name or any details. This is definitely a scam, usin’ scary tactics to mess with yer head. Wouldn’t want any vulnerable folks to get caught up in it.

Got a call from some home energy place. They asked if I was planning to replace my windows and mentioned some kind of funding help.
