The loft and wall insulation seems pretty old now. From what I got, there's info from a firm named Instafibre that did the 'Blown Wool' wall insulation, which supposedly came with a 20-year warranty. So, are they really gonna pull it all out and replace it with fresh stuff? Feels like a total rip-off to me.

Got a call today from someone selling insulation, they phoned my mum who's 92. When I said we weren't interested, the caller started getting a bit cheeky, even accusing me of not looking after her and saying she had no insulation. Proper rude, so I just ended the call. Definitely felt like a scam!

Got a call today, 21st March, from someone called Steve claiming to be from Home Advisory. He wanted me to confirm my address but when I asked where he was calling from, he just replied, "I'm calling from the telephone" and then cut off. Pretty obvious I wasn’t the sort of person he was trying to scam or twist round his finger.

Got a call from someone asking about insulation stuff, seemed a bit off. They were probably targeting older folks, maybe those over 50. I booked a meeting for tomorrow without really thinking, but later on, it didn’t feel right. So, I called back to cancel it. If they do show up, I’m just not gonna open the door.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from the housing survey area, saying the insulation in my loft needed replacing after 10 years. I just let them keep going for a bit, then told them I never had insulation done, and actually, I don't even have a loft! They kept arguing they had it down in their records anyway!

This has got to be one of those dodgy insulation calls. They rang up saying they’d already been to our place, but now needed to come back again. Kept pushing to schedule the visit for the very next day, claiming the government now demands every home get their loft insulation checked every 20 years. They were pretty pushy about locking us in for tomorrow, but we were quick to say no thanks, loud and clear.

I didnt pick up since the number wasn’t saved in my phone. No message was left either, so I figured it wasn’t important. After seeing all these comments, I’ve just blocked the number now.

This person kept ringing me even after I told them to stop. They said we’d known each other before, which was a complete lie. When I wouldn’t say who I was, they got all moody and said they didn’t like the way I was talking to them. Very annoying, to say the least.
