Got a text saying my payment to O2 had failed and I needed to update details right away. The message had a link that looked just like O2’s real site and asked for all my info straight away. I checked the official O2 app and there was no alert at all about any payment issues. Taking a closer look at the link made it clear it was fake. Seriously, watch out and don’t fall for this trick.

Got a message at half past one in the morning claiming to be from Royal Mail about a package - total scam for sure.

Got a text supposedly from Royal Mail saying they couldn’t deliver a parcel today - which was odd since it was Sunday. The message included a link to a site that looked exactly like the real Royal Mail page, asking for my information and £1.99 to sort out redelivery. I decided to check the tracking number on the official site, but it turned out to be fake. Turns out the number I was given is known for phishing scams. Definitely dodgy!

Got a message claiming to be from Royal Mail about a delivery. Don’t bother calling or emailing them - Royal Mail doesn’t send messages like that or work the way this one suggests. It’s definitely a scam.
