1 yearI got a call from a number starting 07847 ###### with the same annoying American woman’s voice, telling me my credit card was used for a big Amazon purchase. First off, banks don’t ring you on mobiles like that, and second, I’ve never even shopped on Amazon! Clearly a phishing attempt to steal my bank details, which is why I avoid online banking altogether. Even though I’m signed up with BT call protect and the TPS, these unwanted calls keep coming through non-stop.
