I got a message purporting to be from the DVLA in Swansea, stating I was eligible for a tax refund. However, when I clicked the link, it led me to a suspicious website asking for personal details, including my bank information. I've verified with DVLA Swansea, and they’ve categorically stated it’s a scam. Be cautious, everyone!

On the 24th of January, 2017, I was rung up by a number I didn't recognise, so I opted not to pick up. I think I'll add it to my contacts just so I can block it later.

Just like others have mentioned, I had a similar experience. An Indian woman rang me, claiming to be from Citizens Advice regarding some debt issues. The moment I mentioned that I was recording the conversation, they promptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Received a call on 23rd January 2017, much like what others have mentioned before. If only they articulated their words a bit better, it would certainly make it simpler to express my annoyance! I've now added the number to my block list.

Had a chap on the line, sounded Indian, and he started asking me all sorts of questions. Honestly, I couldn't make head or tail of what he was on about, so I simply told him no and hung up. Just another dodgy scam call, if you ask me!

I've had a fair few missed calls from this number, but no voicemail left. When I attempt to ring back using a private number, an automated message comes up stating that the number isn't recognised. Quite puzzling, really!

Absolutely, I echo what others have said. I've also added this number to my block list. It's rather tiresome, isn't it? Who on earth actually gets caught up in such blatant nonsense?

Simply put, best to just block that number. It's a dodgy scheme aimed at fishing for your banking info and your hard-earned cash.

Just received a call at 1:20 PM from someone with an Indian accent. To be honest, I couldn’t quite decipher what he was on about since I didn’t recognise the voice. The only bit I caught was “monthly repayments,” and I immediately thought, “Not interested,” before hanging up the phone.

Received a call today at precisely 12:21 (23rd January), and the caller inquired using my maiden name, which I haven't gone by in over a decade. I candidly replied, 'That name doesn't belong to anyone on this number,' and without any further conversation, they just disconnected. I certainly noted the Indian accent.

I've been receiving incessant calls from this number, yet they never bother to leave a message. After a quick search online, it turns out it's linked to a scammer! Just a heads-up to everybody out there. Stay vigilant!

What a complete and utter waste of time! Seems like these blokes are nothing more than a bunch of dodgy scammers attempting to pull one over on you. Avoid at all costs!

I received a call that claimed to be from Citizens Advice, saying my name had been randomly selected for a significant debt cancellation programme. When I inquired whether my local CAB had been informed about this offer, the caller abruptly cut the line. Definitely sounded like an Indian call centre to me. It’s undoubtedly a scam. Best to ignore such calls!

I received a call from 07848 182121 earlier today but chose not to answer it. They didn’t leave a voicemail, so I’ve decided to add this number to my block list.

I tend to ignore calls from unfamiliar numbers. No voicemail was left, which tells me that if it were something crucial or legitimate, they'd have taken the time to leave a message. When I attempted to return the call, I got a message saying, "This number cannot be recognised, please double-check and try again." It’s clearly a scam, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.

I’ve received a handful of these calls lately, all from various mobile numbers that refuse to take my calls. When I try to ring them back, it claims the number is incorrect. It’s got me thinking that it’s likely a scam, given these oddities.

Received a call from an Indian con artist pretending to be from a taxi service. Once they realised I was onto their little game, they became quite aggressive. They kept ringing back incessantly, hurling threats until I eventually had to block the number. Quite the nuisance, I must say!

An individual with an Indian accent rang me on my mobile, stating that my creditors had forwarded some legal matters concerning me. He claimed I had some outstanding debts to settle. When I responded with a sceptical "oh, really?" he abruptly ended the call. The whole thing seemed rather suspicious. I attempted to ring the number back, but it turned out to be untraceable.

I received a call from a gentleman with an Indian accent, claiming to be from Citizens Advice regarding my supposed debts. I informed him that I don’t have any debts, and to my surprise, he told me to "#### off" before promptly disconnecting the call! I've since added that number to my blocked list!

I've had a similar run-in as many of you have mentioned here. Whenever I confront them, they just cut the line! It's impossible to ring them back since it claims the number is invalid. Clearly, these blokes are up to no good!

This morning at precisely 08:32, my mobile buzzed with a call from this number. I chose not to pick up, and unsurprisingly, they didn’t bother leaving a message. From what I’ve read in the remarks of others, it appears to be the same lot who attempted to reach me on a different line not long ago. I've now blocked both of the digits.

I had a rather unpleasant encounter with someone named Charlie from a so-called debt services company. I made it quite clear that I've never found myself in debt or taken out any loans. In the heat of the moment, I lost my patience and called him a rather unsavoury name, insisting he refrain from contacting me in the future. Utterly ridiculous—definitely a scam or nuisance call!
