I’m involved with a charity helping homeless people around Yorkshire. A woman got in touch saying she was from Amazon and wanted to give a donation to our cause. I gave her my phone number, and she asked me to text her the charity’s name, so I did it right away. Later on, I decided to search the number on Google and found out it’s connected with Amazon scams and even visa fraud. Quite dodgy!

Got a recorded call saying my amazon prime subscription was gonna renew. I don’t even have amazon prime but still ended the call after a few seconds. Definitely a scam trying to trick people.
