Tried ringing that number but it just cut out and wouldn’t connect properly.

I wasn’t even in the armed forces, yet they called me claiming to be from Help for Heroes. When I told them I’d lost both my legs in Afghanistan, they just didn’t seem to care at all. Despite that, they kept pushing if I’d like to make a donation. Felt pretty cold to be honest.

Some bloke with a weird accent said he was calling from Clearview Windows and began asking all sorts about my windows. It felt dodgy, so I just ended the call straight away. Probably a scam, if you ask me.

They rang me up four times asking if me or anyone in my family had been in the armed forces. The earliest call was on the morning of 25th October at 5:29 am, and the last one came through tonight at about 6:45 pm. Quite persistent, I must say!
