On 10/07/23, I got a call from a lady who said I was accepted for some kind of loan. Then she handed me over to her supervisor who asked me for £85, saying it was some kind of insurance fee for the loan. I told him I didn’t have that amount in my bank, and he just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from a woman saying I'd been approved for a loan, then she put me through to her manager. He asked me for £85, which I paid, but after a wait, he said I needed to send another £150 to complete the deal and promised I'd get that back once the money was transferred. I called them out on it being a scam. They even rang me back, claiming I hadn’t paid the £85 and that they needed it before they could send any money.

Got a call from someone pretending to be a loan company saying I’d been approved, but only if I paid something upfront over the phone first. I told them I wasn’t happy paying before seeing the cash in my account (I’ve heard about this sort of trick before) and the lady just ended the call straight away.

Heads up, these people pretend to be from Loans 2 Go but they really aren’t, so watch out!
