Reports on phone number 07846589924
9 yearsReceived another call from this individual. When we asked a simple query about verifying their phone number prior to confirming our information, their response was shocking. They called us a “silly, stupid man”! It didn't take long before I hung up on the conversation. Quite the experience, I must say!10 yearsThese rings are associated with a company called Sealaway Ltd, which operates as a telephone watchdog for Sun Alliance. If you need to reach out to them, you can do so by dialling 0870 850 2922 or sending a fax to 0870 850 4268. You can also drop them an email at [email protected]. Their address is Sun Alliance House, 166-167 St Helens Road, Swansea SA1 4DQ (a lovely little Welsh detail there!). They’re quite eager to reimburse all expenses incurred and provide compensation, given that these rings are linked to 'Fraudulent Transactions.' Seriously, don’t hesitate, give them a ring - you know deep down that you’re inclined to! For customer service enquiries, you can contact them at 01792 470999.Sealaway LtdSun AllianceAdminSealawayltdcomHouseSt Helens RoadSwansea10 yearsThis chap claimed to represent O2 and was supposedly trying to confirm our details, but it turned into a rather odd encounter. Initially, we shared a bit of information, but when he pressed for the full card number, our guard went up. He kept insisting, interestingly stating that if he were truly with O2, he wouldn’t need the start of our card number due to the data protection regulations. We stood firm and declined to provide any more details. Just before he hung up, he had the audacity to call me a silly woman! Quite an experience, to say the least!10 yearsI've found myself in the same predicament right after we secured an iPhone contract from Carphone Warehouse. It's rather alarming-£52.50 has been taken from my account without any prior notice. Has anyone figured out the most effective method to obtain a refund for this?Carphone Warehouse10 yearsI recently had an identical experience, where I received a call from individuals claiming to be with VODAFONE, offering us reduced insurance rates. Out of the blue, £75 was deducted from my account without any prior warning. I contacted my bank and discovered that a company named SEALAWAY LTD was responsible for this unauthorised transaction! I'm currently awaiting a call from the fraud department to sort this out. What baffles me, however, is how these strangers managed to obtain our new phone number. If they have no connection to the actual network, what on earth allowed them access to our information?VODAFONESEALAWAY LTD10 yearsRegrettably, it seems that the details concerning the owner, Andrew Patterson, who is 27 and hails from Swansea, need a bit of rectification!Andrew PattersonSwansea10 yearsI recently managed to reach out to these folks and, lo and behold, they've been draining £14.99 from our account every single week. It might not seem like a huge amount at first glance, but trust me, it piles up quickly. When I spoke to the lady on the phone, she seemed quite baffled and suggested that I send over our bank statement. Apparently, these people could process a refund for the deducted amounts. I'll keep you posted on how that all pans out!10 yearsClaiming to be associated with Carphone Warehouse, they withdrew money for insurance straight from our bank account.Carphone Warehouse11 yearsI've encountered the very same predicament after we recently got ourselves an iPhone contract through Carphone. It's clear our details have been compromised. I noticed £52.50 has been taken from my account. Has anyone else dealt with this and figured out the best course of action to reclaim their money?Carphone11 yearsWe're trying to figure out why this chap is asking for our banking details. The moment we inquired about his need for our financial information, he abruptly hung up on us. It was quite alarming how pushy and insistent he was. Strangely enough, he started providing all the details we sought right after we shared ours. Quite the odd experience, if you ask me!11 yearsI’ve come across the same information regarding Carphone Warehouse's Lifeline Premium being slashed in price-it's now a case of paying a portion upfront and deferring the rest. However, it appears I’ve been misled, as I’ve discovered these individuals don’t seem to take calls when it comes to refunds. I’d strongly advise against divulging any personal details to them again. The company in question is PhoneGuard or Seal Away Ltd, and the contact number I’ve got is 01792470999. Just a heads-up!Carphone WarehousePhoneGuardSeal Away Ltd12 yearsWe're in the same predicament, I must say. It’s absolutely baffling that no action has been taken regarding this issue. We’re desperate to reclaim our £32.50 that’s been deducted from our account. These folks even provided us with a certificate claiming we’re insured! Yet, to our dismay, Carphone Warehouse has the audacity to bill us for insurance too. Has anyone managed to resolve this situation yet? We're all in the same boat here!Carphone Warehouse12 yearsReceived another call from them, but this time the number was blocked. It seems we must be on their speed dial!12 yearsReceived a call from someone claiming to be called Michelle, who insisted that they could offer a remarkable 50% off our mobile phone insurance. This individual seemed all too familiar with our specific phone model and asserted they were calling on behalf of O2. We couldn’t shake the feeling that something was amiss, but unfortunately, we had already shared our information with them. Fortunately, we acted swiftly and blocked our card, so they shouldn’t be able to make any further transactions. It’s our belief that Carphone Warehouse ought to take measures to inform their customers regarding these dubious practices.MichelleCarphone Warehouse12 yearsCan anyone recall whether this Sealaway company was active during this time, or do you reckon these individuals are simply using it as a front? They offered us this number, but the one that called came up as "private." Just trying to determine if this truly involved Sealaway or not.Sealaway12 yearsI’ve experienced something quite alike-received a call claiming to be from O2, asking for my banking details and various security information, even trying to pry a password out of me. I promptly reached out to our primary service provider, who escalated the matter to their security team. If you ever find yourself in such a predicament, it’s best to get in touch with your bank, narrate what’s occurred, and request them to freeze your card and issue a replacement. Better safe than sorry, I say!12 yearsIndeed, I received a call from them as well. They asked for my card details, then abruptly disconnected the line. Now, I've noticed some funds have vanished!12 yearsThey called again, but this time they’ve hidden their number. It seems we’ve become quite the target for them!12 yearsI was trying to locate some details regarding our bank account and found that these individuals were supposedly affiliated with the provider. However, upon further investigation, it turned out that they were not connected at all!12 yearsReceived a call from the same number not long ago. The moment we probed a bit, they became rather rude and hung up on us. We called back a few times, and now they’ve gone silent. Seriously, folks, steer clear and do NOT divulge any details to these people. Under no circumstances should you share personal information over the phone. If you're unsure, it's best to reach out to O2 or your service provider to check if it's genuine! Cheers, Jon.JonSubmit Your Own Report (07846 589924)
