Somebody rang me saying they were from Amazon, telling me there was a suspicious attempt to buy a phone using my account. While on the line, I got a text with a code they asked me to say out loud. I told them I knew about these scam calls and wasn’t feeling right about it, and said I’d ring Amazon myself. She then suddenly ended the call.
