I got a call from 0784610105, the woman on the line was Asian and said I had to ring another number because some company supposedly had a PPI refund waiting for me. They keep pushing you to pay something upfront before they send the cheque. It’s definitely a con. I reported it to Action Fraud already, recommend you do the same.

Got a call earlier from someone with an Indian accent. They kept messing up how to say my name, so I just ended the call.

I just hung up straight away. The bloke started shouting all sorts, saying I was going to be arrested over some PPI thing I never even asked about. Proper rude and aggressive. I told him if they're a legit company, they should at least say they're recording the call right from the start.

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang up asking for the old owner of this place - seems like he was working off old info. I told him the person he wanted wasn’t here anymore and asked what he wanted, but he just stayed silent and then cut the call. Definitely sounded dodgy to me. Best to block the number and report it to Ofcom and the ICO, which I’ve already done.

Got a call saying I’d won a PPI payout of £3080 and a bloke called Mr Craig White would turn up with the cash by 5pm. But the catch was I had to first purchase an Apple iTunes voucher for £250 before he’d hand over the money! I found it suspicious and told them I’d wait for Mr White so he could come with me to buy the voucher. They weren’t having any of that. Felt like a right scam.

Somebody said they'd send me money and bring a cheque by next week, but when I asked for more details they just ended the call. Bit odd if you ask me!

What a laugh, total PPI scammer right from the start, sounded about as genuine as a paper wallet. I asked him for the company name, just for kicks, even though I had it sussed straight away. He told me to google "PPI Advisory Group" and said his firm was the first one that popped up.

He was dodgy when it came to giving his actual name, but after a bit of pressure he said "Jack Dawson." Bit of a weird name for someone from around there, but maybe my ear’s off or summat.

I swear I could tell he was cringing inside when I asked if he was named after the bloke from Titanic. Priceless.

Got loads of calls today but my call monitor caught them all. I tried ringing back but it said the number wasn't real. I've decided to block any calls from that number from now on.

Somebody rang me up saying I'd won £2200 from a PPI thing and told me to phone this 0161 number, then another 0161 one, and after that, apparently, someone’d deliver the money to me. The woman sounded like she was from India or Pakistan - honestly, when they’re just reading from a script, they all blur together for me.

Got a call today from this number saying I was due £2860 from a PPI claim and it would arrive tomorrow. Then they rang again from the same number asking me to confirm the amount. They told me to pop to the shops and buy an Apple iTunes voucher for £50, then ring 01616609772 with the voucher code. Obviously, this is a total scam.

Got a call sayin I had some PPI thing from Lloyds and that a bloke called Craig White was gonna drop it off today. They told me to ring a number to sort the delivery. When I asked for their details, the line just went dead. The guy sounded like he had a thick Asian accent, and said his name was Martin. Yeah, sure! Total scam, don’t fall for it.

I got a call from a bloke claiming he was from some ppi outfit and somehow had all my info. He said I'd recently made a claim against Barclays for ppi, which is completely rubbish as I've never even had an account with them. I humoured him for a bit just to see where it was going. Turns out, he said he was with a firm named PPI Claims Easy.
