I received a call from the number we had looked up, but they got my name wrong. When I pointed this out, the caller abruptly hung up. Very peculiar indeed!

Blimey, she rang us too, claiming to be from O2. So, we decided to phone O2 ourselves, and they assured us they’re notifying the authorities about that number and everything. And to you, you muppet reading this, it might be best to skedaddle and lay low. Seriously, leg it and keep your head down!

She claimed to be from O2, inquiring about our contract and any issues we might be experiencing with our phone. We clarified that we hadn’t encountered any problems and would reach out to O2 if something came up. At that point, she simply hung up. Shortly after, we received a missed call from them, but when we returned the call, we were met with a voicemail message. Interestingly, it turned out to be from a Tesco mobile number.

I had a mate ring me up, claiming he had taken out a loan, mortgage, or credit card in the last decade and had been mis-sold PPI. He insisted that he'd never actually signed up for PPI, and before he could finish, he hung up the call. Only a mere five minutes later, he received a text from her asking when he was next free and single. It was a bit creepy, to say the least, that she seemed to know so much about him. Truly odd behaviour!

I was trying to sort out some new insurance for our O2 plan when this woman asked for our credit card details. She managed to grab the first four digits of our card and then pressed for the remainder. The moment we refused, the line went completely silent! How odd!

She claims to be employed by O2, but when I called back, she mentioned working for a company called Safe Line. I suspect it’s a scam. When I probed about how she obtained our number, her response was a vague reference to Yahoo.com. Quite dodgy, if you ask me! :|

She mentioned that she’d reached out to O2 regarding our contract, and whenever we encounter issues with the phone, we clarified that we hadn’t experienced any and would contact O2 if we did. After that, she abruptly ended the call. Shortly afterwards, we noticed a missed call from that number, but when we tried to return the call, all we got was a voicemail. It turned out to be a Tesco mobile number.

She claimed to be from O2, inquiring about our contract and any issues we might be experiencing with our mobile. We assured her there were no problems and mentioned that we would reach out to O2 if anything came up. Following that, she abruptly hung up. Later, we noticed we'd missed a call from them, and when we tried to return the call, we were greeted by a voicemail system. Oddly enough, the call originated from a Tesco mobile number.

We received a call from a chap claiming to be from a company that assists individuals in reclaiming mis-sold PPI. After we ended the conversation, he bombarded us with calls and subsequently sent a rather menacing text message. I can't help but wonder why this individual has not been dealt with yet?

I received a call from a bloke claiming to represent Halifax, and he seemed to know our entire name! We quickly hung up as we were convinced it was some kind of sales pitch. Shortly after, we got a text message saying we were foolish for not hearing him out. Apparently, he mentioned something about money owed to us due to PPI on our mortgage. He went on to say that since we brushed him off, his company would go ahead and pursue the claim on our behalf and distribute any gains amongst his team. What a cheek!

I received a call from this number, and they were looking for someone else. I let them know they had the name completely wrong, but instead of apologising, they just hung up!

We received a call from a gentleman claiming to be affiliated with Halifax, and to our surprise, he knew our complete name. Suspecting it to be a sales pitch, we dismissed the call rather quickly. Not long after, we got a text message implying that our lack of engagement means we're missing out, and they suggested we could reclaim some cash concerning a PPI mortgage. The message was quite cheeky, asserting that due to our perceived snootiness, their company would pursue this reimbursement for us and distribute the earnings amongst their team.

I was simply trying to find out some details regarding our new 2002 insurance and then the chap on the other end asked for the first four digits of our credit card. When we politely declined to provide the remainder, wouldn’t you know it, the phone line suddenly went dead! Quite the coincidence, don’t you think?

A chap mentioned something quite similar regarding mis-sold PPI. This woman gathered all our personal details, and before we knew it, our money had vanished from the account in just a few hours. We had to cancel all our cards in a panic. Is there anyone out there who can track down these dodgy individuals? She claimed she worked for a company called 'You Equip It' or something along those lines-sounds like a scam related to phone insurance!

Received a call claiming they provide coverage and protection for O2 and various other networks. Struck a rather good bargain if you ask me! Honestly, I'm baffled by the complaints; O2’s coverage felt like daylight robbery in comparison. This alternative is a steal at just £69.99 for the duration of our contract!

A gentleman rang us claiming to want to chat about PPI, asserting that if we have a credit card, mortgage, or loan, we’ve likely overpaid. We explained we don’t possess any of those financial products, and promptly the call came to an end. Just five minutes later, I received a text message from a woman inquiring about our ages, suggesting we sounded attractive and even asked for photos, along with a question about my relationship status. I’ve reported this incident to Trading Standards, the police, and our mobile provider. Quite alarming, really!
