Got a text saying there was a failed payment to my Nat West account on Google. It asked me to ring an 0333 number if I hadn’t made it. Thing is, I don’t even have a Nat West account. Plus, the fraud team would never just send a text out like that, they’d ring you directly if something was wrong. Also, these 0333 numbers end up costing a bomb - nothing to do with me!

Got a robo call claiming to be HMRC, saying I’m involved in some kind of tax scam and need to ring them back on a certain number. These sort of messages used to pop up on my landline before.
