This tired old scam has been going around forever. Got a mate of mine who fell for it after losing all his cash and cards - absolute classic trick that just keeps popping up.

Beware, total scam alert! Someone’s been using pictures of this German actress, Barbara Schonenberger, trying to con me into sending cash. They claimed they were stuck in Dubai and involved in some legal trouble. Felt super dodgy right from the start!

Just to add, tonight they tried to move cash out of my friend's phone account. Be careful and don't fall for it!

My friend got roped into some dodgy tale from someone who claimed to be called G##, saying she'd meet up for a date. The story was that she was jetting off to Dubai then Africa, but once in Africa, she 'lost' her phone charger and asked for help, saying she'd also misplaced an iPad and a camera. She went on about having a business worth 2.5 million and needing assistance. She even said she had over 20 people working under her and planned to meet my mate at East Midlands airport. Sounds like a load of rubbish to me, pretty sure it’s a scam. Anyone here who can advise?
