Got a call from an unknown number, but as soon as I picked up, they just hung up. Cold call for sure.

I got a call from someone named Shelley claiming to be from "solutions recycling". She asked if I knew about some new recycling program. But when I asked her to explain what exactly they were offering, she just hung up on me.

So yesterday arvo, got a call from a lady saying she was representing some council dept or sumthin, offering to take away my old windows and doors and replace em with brand new ones, apparently worth up to £2000. Told her thanks but no thanks and hung up straight away. Not having any of it.

I’m 87 and have disabilities, and this number just disconnected as soon as my answering machine picked up. Honestly, it’s annoying to get calls like this, especially when I’m not up to chatting.

Got a call on my home phone from some renewable energy firm pushing a £2000 discount on windows and doors.
