So I got added to some WhatsApp group out of the blue, no heads up or anything, and they were pushing this crypto called Kraken - funny enough, that word means squatters in Dutch! Once I told everyone what was going on, they kicked me out pretty quickly.

I got a text that said it was from Royal Mail, saying they couldn’t deliver a parcel because my address was wrong. There was a sketchy link in the message telling me to click it to check my details - total scam, no doubt about it.

I got a text out of nowhere saying I’d been near someone with Omicron and they wanted me to order a NHS covid test kit. Thing is, they said I had to pay for the delivery first, so I went ahead and paid. Later on, I noticed my card had been used to buy trainers from somewhere in Stockport, which I definitely didn’t do. Turns out it was all a scam.

Got a text saying I’d been near someone with Omicron, saying I could order a free test. The link took me to a fake NHS site asking for postage fees. When I entered my card info, they called from a number looking like it was from my bank, pretending to be my card company. They told me I’d been scammed already and needed to “reset” my account, then pushed for activation codes to get inside my account and steal money. Another number that phoned me was 08000113210, pretending to be Virgin Money in my instance. Complete rip-off!

Beware of this scam number sending texts claiming you’ve been in contact with someone with omicron and urging you to get a PCR test from national-heatlh-uk.com. The site looks just like the NHS one but asks for card info to cover postage. Please don’t share your details. Also, someone attempted to make purchases with my card via a company called DRIPMODA around 14-15 June 2022. Stay safe!

+44 7845 039460 rang me, saying there was an Omicron warning and I needed to do a PCR test. They even sent a link to a website claiming to be the NHS. I asked a relative who works for the NHS about it since PCR tests aren’t really being done anymore, and they said it was definitely a scam. This wasn’t from the real NHS at all!
