CAUTION! Looks like a phishing attempt. The NHS never sends alerts like this from a mobile number. Got a text claiming I’d been near someone with Omicron BA.5 and that I could get a free test by clicking a link at uk-health-department.com. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

Got a text from +44 7845 013787 claiming it was from some site called uk-health-department.com, which sounded really dodgy to me. It said it was a covid alert and offered a free test kit, but then they asked for money to cover the postage. Pretty sure it's a scam trying to grab your bank info and rip you off. Watch out for it!
