Got a call from 07844398868 earlier today, with a recorded woman’s voice that sounded a bit frantic, saying she was from Amazon. She told me I had supposedly spent £399 on some item, then said if I hadn’t made that purchase, I should press ‘1’ to speak to someone. Sounds like the usual scam I’ve had loads of times before. This number seems new though, so I’ve blocked it on my phone now. Just thought I’d warn others to watch out.
