Got a robo call saying my National Insurance number was at risk and to press 1 to avoid any legal trouble. When I did, the person on the other end asked for my name and NI Number. I told them they should already have it if they were calling me, then they just ended the call. Received a few more calls after that from different numbers.

Got a call from a woman with a British accent, said her name was Sarah Johnson and that she was from some insurance company. She told me I'd been in a car crash, but I told her that wasn’t true at all. She just ended the call right after that.

I picked up one call from these lot trying to push life insurance on me, sounded pretty fishy so I just ended the call. I’m not convinced by these types, a proper business would’ve sent me a letter or an email instead of ringing me out of the blue.

So, I got a call from this company doing a lifestyle survey, asking me if I’m employed, whether I rent or own my home, and then weirdly inquired about the age of my washing machine. Now, just today, a different person calls me up saying the warranty on my washing machine is about to run out and they’re trying to sell me an extended warranty. When I told them if it breaks I’ll just get a new one, they sounded properly annoyed.

Got a call from an Asian woman who seemed to have old info, kept trying to guess my age. She was asking loads of questions about if I was married and what jobs I had before. After a while I gave her some nonsense answers just to mess about, then she suddenly hung up when the topic turned to washing machines.

Got a call from someone who sounded Asian, probably from a call centre. Took them a while to pick up and it seemed like they were just reading my name off a screen or something.
