Got a call from this number claiming I should reach out to HSBC. Problem is, I don’t even have an HSBC account. Pretty sure it’s a scam.

I got a text saying something like, ‘Hello HSBC client, there's been a payment try from a device that’s not recognised. To protect your account, go to: [#]hs.bc.new-devs[###].’ Problem is, I don’t even bank with HSBC. I rang up my phone provider and they advised me just to delete the message.

Got a text from this number claiming to be HSBC, saying there was a dodgy transaction on my account. They told me to click on some email link. I don’t even have an account with HSBC. Just ignore it!

I got a text saying someone tried to use my bank account from some device I dont know, there was a link to click on too. I called my bank using their official number just to check and they said it wasn't them at all - watch out for this one!
