i got a call from an asian guy with a really thick accent. he kept asking me to confirm my address and name but i just couldn’t catch what he was saying no matter how many times i asked him to say it again. in the end, i just hung up cos it was all too confusing.

Got a call from this number yesterday, I picked up and it was dead silent on the other end. Just now, about 10 minutes ago, it happened again - I answered and nothing but silence. Seems like one of those scam calls to me.

I received a call from this number, and the chap on the other end introduced himself as Edward. He sounded like he had a bit of an eastern accent. However, as soon as I brought up the police, he promptly hung up. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Some bloke called saying he was from Benefits UK and wanted to ask us some questions. When I asked why, he just kept saying he was from Benefits UK without giving any proper explanation. We don't even get any benefits, so I knew straight away it was dodgy. Told him to jog on!

I got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent who said his name was Martin. He claimed he had a message for my missus and asked me to spell out our surname. I told him, "No way, mate!" Plus, he was calling from a mobile number. Definitely sounded like a scam to me.

On 2nd April 2019 at around 10:06 in the morning, i got a call from this number that was completely silent, maybe some kind of automatic dialler. I picked up and said "hello?" but suddenly the call just dropped, even though i didn't hang up. There was no noise or anything from the other side. Can't really say more about it.

My home phone just got a call from this number. I didn’t pick up and let the answerphone get it instead, but they didn’t leave any message. It was about quarter to nine in the morning. These people from Asia sure get going pretty early!

this morning around 10am i got a ring from this number, but when i picked up there was just a long pause before i heard someone try to say hello, then the line went dead so i hung up. then roughly 45 minutes later a different mobile number called, with a guy claiming to be from benefits uk - he said his name was steven. like others mentioned before, i told him i wasn’t interested and ended the call.
