Got a text saying I tested positive for covid, linked me to what looked like an NHS site. I clicked on it to order a free test, but then it asked for card info to cover 99p delivery. Stupidly, I put my card details in. About an hour later, my bank called me to stop a dodgy payment attempt. Turns out, by clicking that link I accidentally downloaded malware that messed up all my apps. Now I have to wipe my phone clean and change my bank card and all my passwords.

Got a message saying I'd come into contact with Omicron, but it felt dodgy. Definitely seems like one of those scam texts trying to trick you. Be careful if you get one like that!

I got a message from this number claiming I'd been near someone with Covid. They wanted me to click on a link to get a PCR test kit. Obviously, it turned out to be one of those dodgy Covid scams.
