Has anyone been able to track down info on this scammer that can be handed over to the cops? We’ve got an address in B27, Birmingham (it’s a genuine one), but the name the guy gave on his bank details, ‘Nasir Khan’, doesn’t match the tenant registered at 192[###]. There actually is a Nasir Khan living near there with the same postcode, B27. Still, this could just be coincidence - there’s nothing concrete linking them as far as we know.

Absolutely terrible bloke. Got in touch after I posted an ad on pets4homes about a labrador puppy. He was incredibly impolite and refused to let me do a video call to actually see the pups or confirm they even existed. When I challenged him, he started wishing cancer on us all. Later, he even messaged my husband threatening to harm me and our daughter. I’ve kept screenshots of all the awful messages.

Had this person show me some video and pics of a puppy, asked for a deposit, and right after I paid up, they just vanished and blocked me. Total scam!

I got a call about a pet listing on Pets4Homes, and they sent me photos and videos of a puppy which I reckon aren’t theirs. They asked for a deposit upfront. When I asked if I could visit to see the puppies in person, they agreed at first. Later, when I mentioned I’d checked reviews online, they said someone had been rude to them and insisted they were legit, inviting me over on the same day. But when that day came and I messaged to confirm, they just blocked me! Honestly, this feels like a classic scam where they try to take your money without even having the pups.
