I had a rather dodgy encounter with someone posing as an insurance claims representative. He claimed I'd been ensnared in this so-called "broken wing mirror scam." Honestly, it felt more like he was the one attempting to pull a fast one on me!

Saw this dodgy bloke in Finchley driving a blue Saab 9-3, doing the usual broken wing mirror trick like I've heard happens in Pinner. He tried to stop me but I didn't let him, went straight to the cops afterwards. If anyone else gets a run-in with him, make sure you tell the police right away!

I reckon this bloke linked to this number might be pulling some dodgy ‘broken wing mirror’ trick near Pinner. Heads up - if he’s flashing his lights at you to get you to stop and then blames you for knocking his wing mirror, be careful! Best thing is to report it to the police sharpish so they know what’s going on.
