I got a call from an automated voice telling me my National Insurance number was supposedly frozen because of some illegal stuff. It told me to press one to talk to someone, so I did. Then this guy with an Indian accent answered. Straight away, I felt it was a scam. He started asking for my name, birthday and where I live. I told him I wouldn’t be giving any details and suggested he should come to the local police station instead. He just got quiet and then ended the call.
