The individual on the line claimed there was dubious activity concerning our internet connection, threatening to disconnect it within 24 hours. However, I didn’t stick around to hear the remainder of the message, as I’d received a nearly identical call just yesterday. That one appeared as an international call from 07886209413 and featured the same recorded voice, prompting me to press various options. I promptly hung up and reported it here as well as to Action Fraud, following the advice from my phone and internet service provider. They confirmed that the call was indeed a scam and stated they were aware of it. My question is, if they're cognisant of these fraudulent calls originating from mobile numbers, why aren’t they taking action to terminate them?
