I don’t get why people still wonder about these calls. This old scam has been shown on loads of TV programmes about phone fraud for ages. If you’re unsure whether a call is really from your bank, just make sure the line is clear, then ring your bank back using the number on the card itself. Easy as that. If you spot a scam number, text it to 7726 straight away. Be sure to see if you get a reply because you might have to confirm the report. If you want more details, just search for 7726 online.

Got a call where a woman’s recorded voice claimed she was from Bank Security. She said there were requests for £199.00 linked to Amazon and an £899.00 charge on my account. Then she started telling me what I should do next. Sounds fishy to me!!!
