Someone rang me saying they were from Amazon, but there was loads of noise in the background so couldn’t catch everything properly. They said there was an attempt to buy an iPhone on my Amazon account and said they’d send me a code to confirm it was fraud. I got a text with a code from Amazon telling me not to share it, as they wouldn’t ask for it over the phone. When I told the caller this, they said the code wasn’t for my account and tried to get me to give it to them anyway. I just ended the call there and have reported it to Amazon.
