I got a call from this number and it was one of those automated messages claiming to be from Visa, saying there was a suspicious payment from my bank account. They mentioned a sum of a few hundred quid and told me to press 1 if I wanted to stop the transaction. I thought about whether it was safe to press the button, but before I could make up my mind the call ended abruptly.

This number gave me a robocall claiming it was Visa warning of a weird charge on my account. They told me to press one to sort it out, but I called my bank first and they reckon it’s a scam. I still need to ring my credit card company, but it definitely seems dodgy.
