At a rather unsociable hour of 4:34 AM, I received a message from a chap named Kevin regarding a parcel delivery that didn't quite make it to me. He seemed keen on sorting out a new delivery time. Interestingly enough, his voicemail was linked to an 02 mobile number. And would you believe it, this all happened on the 1st of April-no prank, just my luck!

I've had a similar experience, and that link directs you to a fraudulent parcel site that requests your payment information. Best to steer clear of it!

What a dodgy number this is! I received a message claiming that “Kevin” was unable to deliver a parcel to me. There were no specifics about what was on its way or which company it was from. Clicking on the link took me to a site that tries to mimic Royal Mail but is simply labelled “Post Office.” A quick glance at the URL reveals the truth - it's obviously fraudulent. When asked for a postcode, I discovered you could enter anything at all, and it would assert that five delivery depots were located nearby, always pinning your location to somewhere in Ipswich (I even tried Hogwarts and Narnia). It then prompts you to input your name and email address. It's clear as day this is a scam, though the website does have a surprisingly professional appearance that might trick the unwary. Additionally, it claims that they don’t issue calling cards anymore due to COVID, which is a blatant falsehood for any reputable delivery firm.

This is an absolute con designed to harvest your banking and personal information. It leaves a message claiming that a certain Kevin has made an attempt to deliver your package, urging you to click a link to arrange for a redelivery. The website is obscurely labelled "Post Office," providing no clear indication of the actual courier involved. It requests your postcode, followed by your name, address, and email-curiously allowing you to enter any information you fancy. Then, it ominously states that there's one parcel awaiting you, with a dubious delivery charge of £1.59. Only at the point where it asks for your card information does it suddenly declare that your entered details are incorrect. Out of all the scams I’ve encountered, this one is particularly well-crafted, with an appearance of professionalism, so be cautious!
