Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, warning me about imminent legal action. I pressed 1 to get through to an actual person, and a guy with an American accent picked up. I said "Humberside Police" and suddenly the call got cut off. Just so you know, I’m a retired Detective Inspector myself.
