Some bloke rang me claiming he was from Amazon, saying there was a dodgy order for an iPhone 15 placed on my account from California. He said he’d sent me a verification code via WhatsApp and told me to open it. I played along like I opened it, then he asked for the code. I questioned why I hadn’t received an email about this first, and he started rambling. When I asked about the email again, he just told me to shove off. Didn’t take that lightly, so I gave him a bit of both barrels and ended the call.

Someone phoned me trying to get into my Amazon account, but I was sure it was dodgy since I never share my number and Amazon normally just emails, they don't ring you. The bloke had an Indian accent and there was so much background noise I reckon he was working in one of those call centres.
