Got a call on my home phone from someone claiming to be with BT. They said soon we’d be able to only take calls from selected people like family and mates, no more spam or foreign numbers. They asked to put me through to someone else to explain more, probably to get personal info like my name and address - which they should already have, right? I told them no and hung up. Then, a few minutes later, my mobile rang from an 033 number but I didn’t pick up. Felt a bit dodgy to me.
