Got a call from 003834905208 and it’s definitely one to avoid. If you pick up or ring back, you’ll likely get charged a hefty fee, since it’s a premium scam line. Plus, after that, they start ringing you from loads of other scary numbers. Best just to ignore it altogether.

Got a txt from some Mrs K Adamss sayin it's about my HSBC account. Thing is, I ain't even with HSBC, so that gotta be a scam. The number was 07838 705128, but it was blocked and marked as spam. Definitely dodgy, so watch out!

Just got a message saying 'Payee request for Mrs K Adams on your account via your HSBC Mobile Banking.' I don’t even have an account with HSBC! If you didn’t do this, apparently you should go check security, but it smells fishy to me. The message had a link like hsbcuk payee-verify[###], but I’m sure it’s a scam - why would scammers pick HSBC anyway? Proper dodgy.

I just got a call similar to the ones mentioned here but this time it was a different bank. They were asking me to confirm a payment for someone else’s name. The email they gave me looked really close to the bank’s real address, so it seemed quite convincing. Feels like the same scam trying to do the rounds again with slight changes. Watch out and don’t fall for it!
