So this person called me, saying they’d bought my number and wanted to help me start a business and make money. They claimed it was all authorised by the UK FCA. When I questioned them and mentioned GDPR violations, they didn’t seem to get how serious that was. I told them I’d report them to the local authorities. After that, they warned they’d spam my number across loads of websites. I’ve now reported everything to the police.
