Got a call this morning supposedly from Visa debit saying there were two big withdrawals from my account. It was one of those recorded messages, not a real person, and they told me to press 1 if I wanted to stop the payments. I just ended the call straight away and have blocked the number now. I’m thinking about letting HMRC and the police know if it happens again. Be careful, don’t press anything or keep listening too long!
