This number rang me for the first time today. The caller was a woman who spoke English with a curious mix of a Chinese accent and a sort of American tone. I've had calls from similar numbers over the last few days. When I picked up, I was met with a recorded message saying there was an issue with my tax records and legal action had been taken. They told me to press 1 to speak to an officer for assistance. After hearing all that rubbish, I just ended the call straight away. Honestly, I reckon these calls start ramping up whenever I decline deals from some online shops based in China.
