Got a robot call claiming to be from HMRC, saying a letter they sent me was returned and that legal steps would start at once. They told me to press 1 to talk to an officer - obviously, I didn’t bother and just ended the call. Typical scam tactic - scare you into thinking it’s urgent, then rush you into doing something without thinking. Most likely after some kind of payment. The mobile number they used was a dead giveaway, plus HMRC always sends stuff by email these days. I don’t owe them a penny, and I even checked their site over the weekend to be sure.
