I’m not really sure who it was but I rang back and all I got was a dial tone, so I’m thinking it might be some kind of scam.

Got a call from a man with a foreign accent claiming he was from Virgin Media. He said there was an issue with my internet and a suspicious IP address showing up on my connection. He wanted me to confirm some information. I told him straight up he was trying to scam me. He kept insisting he wasn’t. When I pressed him for proof, he just swore at me and told me to go to hell. I ended the call right there. Real charming bloke, that one.
