I got a call from some woman with an Asian accent claiming she was from Amazon. She was really pushy, saying some scammer had ordered an iPhone 16 on my account and wanted to know if I wanted to cancel it. I told her I’d have a look at my account, and there was nothing there. When I told her this, she insisted she had the order on hold and demanded I just say yes or no to cancelling. I asked her if she thought I was an idiot (used stronger words!), and she snapped back saying she didn’t know because she’s not my mum, then hung up right away. Proper dangerous scammer!
