As soon as I picked up, the person on the other end just hung up immediately.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying there was an issue with my internet and that he was calling from BT. I knew it was dodgy, so I just played along for a bit. Eventually, he got annoyed and ended the call. Classic scam attempt.
