Got a phone call late morning UK time on the 2nd of September 2020 from a recorded voice saying, "this is BT internet, we've been trying to reach you but no luck, so your online service will be cut off soon..." Instantly knew it was dodgy since BT isn’t even my supplier! Pretty daft on their part not to hide their mobile number, looks like they’re beginners at this scamming thing. Just a heads up, they’re probably spamming lots of numbers hoping someone with BT falls for it. Stay sharp!
