Got a call from someone saying they were from Carphone Warehouse, saying I could have an early upgrade. Felt a bit off, so I wasn’t sure if it was legit or just a scam.

Got two calls today from this number on my mobile, which is registered with the TPS. Missed the first one and when I tried calling back, the message said 'number invalid or not recognised'. They rang again shortly after, and a man with a South Asian accent answered, saying he was with Carphone Warehouse. I've lived in India for a long time, so I know the accent well. I've never dealt with Carphone Warehouse at all. I told him my number is on the TPS and to take me off their list, then he disconnected. This looks like a scam call pretending to come from a Vodafone UK number. Watch out!
