Blimey, we’ve just been hit with a bill exceeding £500, and we find this number cropping up on over ten pages! What on earth is going on? I tried giving it a bell, but all I got was what sounded like a fax machine - utterly bonkers! It’s simply not feasible that we’ve dialled this number five times every hour non-stop for the past week. We've never been with Vodafone, nor have we ever laid our hands on one of their devices. My Virgin bill shows that we supposedly had a four-hour call to this number during the mid-morning, right when our office phone is safely tucked away. As NHS staff, we aren’t permitted to have our mobile phones on us while at work. Quite odd, isn't it?

Greetings! I must say, this has been a bit of a shambles. I'm struggling to get in touch with anyone at all! I'm on the 02 network, and now I've been landed with this Vodafone situation. Is there anyone out there who could lend a hand on how to extricate myself from this? It’s absolutely outrageous to have forked out £157 for what feels like a complete ruse. We've encountered a similar issue. Virgin's customer service claims that unlimited access should only cost us 30p, just as they mentioned. However, we're currently going through the Virgin gateway and have mysteriously been billed £102! We're planning to give Vodafone a call to get to the bottom of this.

This number used to be associated with Vodafone's WAP service. So, if you've got a Vodafone phone that's been unlocked, you'll need to adjust your WAP settings to match your new network provider. We rang this number a good four times before getting anywhere. Orange were utterly useless at first, but as soon as we mentioned the possibility of cancelling our service, they suddenly became more accommodating. After a bit of persistence, they ended up giving us a few extra moments on the line and a £15 credit. It just goes to show, sometimes sticking to your guns can really pay off!

I've found myself yet another casualty of this number. We're using a phone that was originally unlocked by Vodaphone but now with Virgin. Our phone was initially registered with Vodafone, but it's now been unlocked for Virgin. On our bill for August, we noticed that within just thirty minutes, there were eleven calls made to this number. This coincided with us trying to view a picture message for the first time. At that point, we hadn't even configured our phone to receive picture messages through Virgin. It's quite possible this number was attempting to connect to the picture, which ended up costing us £1.59.

I’m facing the same problem as previously mentioned. I reached out to Virgin’s customer service and, after multiple calls and even hints at disconnection, they’ve dangled a 50% refund in front of me. I’ve made it clear that this just won’t do. Now I’m pressing them to find out when I can get a full refund and figure out when this number can finally be blocked. Virgin has confirmed that this was, in fact, a FAX number. I’m not paying this bill any longer, and I’ve been told that action will be initiated by Virgin. They’re going to look into it.
