Got a call from this number earlier today, with an automated voice claiming it was from the national crime agency. It said my phone was linked to a serious offence and told me to press 1 to talk to someone. Honestly, if there was any real crime stuff going on, I’m sure the police would reach out to me directly. I didn’t press any buttons and just hung up straight away. Feels like a scam to me, so I’d warn folks to stay clear and not get involved with calls like this.
