Today this number kept ringing me nonstop, I didn’t pick up the first few times. When I finally answered on the fourth try, a lady with an Asian accent greeted me and already knew my name! I tried to find out who she was, and she said she was from Vodafone, but the call suddenly dropped!

I got two calls from this number today, 18th March 2025, both about 5 minutes apart on my mobile, 07836 914499.

Today I got a call from a woman saying she was from Vodafone. She told me my number was linked to some crimes and said they’d disconnect it soon. She spoke with a thick Indian accent and sounded really pushy. I ended the call straight away and rang Vodafone’s customer support to let them know. Turns out there’s a scam going around where fraudsters use Vodafone’s landline numbers. Make sure you double or even triple check before believing anything like that!

Got a call on 26th Feb at about 6.30pm claiming to be from VODAFONE saying there was try to change my number. Ignored it straight away and marked it as a scam.

Got a call earlier saying it was from the "Vodafone Fraud Prevention Team" and the message went something like "This is an automated message about a suspicious attempt to move your phone number. Press 1 if this was you, or 2 if it wasn’t." I just stayed silent for a bit and then they ended the call themselves. Best thing is not to press any buttons and just end the call straight away.

Someone called me claiming to be from EE, trying to sell me a brand new iPhone 14 for £40 a month. I said I wasn’t interested and mentioned I already had a contract.
