Got a call from this number today, I picked up and heard nothing for a moment, then a recorded message started saying it was a security alert from Visa. Apparently, someone was trying to take £900 from my account. They told me to press 1 if I hadn't authorised the payment. I ended the call straight away because it seemed fishy. I’ve since double checked all my account balances. Seriously, which proper bank actually calls you on your mobile like that?
