There was a long silence before I heard some muffled noise like you'd get in a call centre. Then a woman said, "Hi, this is Olivia from BT. We’ve noticed there’s a problem with your line..." I cut her off: "I don’t think you’ve got the right number." She asked if I was <*****>, to which I replied, "I am, but you’re definitely not from my internet provider, sounds like a scam." And just like that, the call abruptly ended.
